Since graduating Fine Art school Painting in Scotland and Dance school in Netherlands, Iona been making her own solos Internationally since 2000 in and out of performance art and experimental Happenings, Theaters and Dance festivals presenting unique one off shows of live art to diverse audiences.

Her first full length works in 2000 were at New York Improvisation Festival at St.Marks Church, New York -‘Bullet at Sternum’ with music made with ‘ADD N to (X)’ 2000. A regular at National Review of Live Arts/International New Moves, Glasgow and Amsterdam.

Since, an ongoing 15 years, she has continued to make, direct and perform her own solos all over the world and also worked and toured with major Belgian Directors Wim Vandekeybus/Ultima Vez and Alain PLatel/Les Ballets C de La B.
Her work amalgamates many art forms in their basic and pure form of highly physicality and emotion content, installation works with sculptural elements, Drawing with live musicians, sonic atmospheres and experiment.
